1) CHOCOLATE

Here's the latest inquiry of what I'm working on in my continuing efforts at helping clean air, water, food, clothing and shelter move along.  At least I can hooya the scientists looking for ways to GMO the cocoa bean to absorb no or less cadmium.  I'm a decent GMO so why should I descent.

I have very strict health concerns and chocolate, especially dark which I live by, is known to have unhealthy amounts of cadmium and lead.  Consumer Reports reported in their February 2023 issue that the cadmium comes from the soil and older trees absorb more than younger ones, while lead is contained mostly in the pods and debris around the areas where the pods are picked, stripped, stored, and processed.  Lead is the more preventable one but scientists are working on methods of adjusting genes to not absorb the cadmium.  In the meantime, I may need to lower my use of chocolate.  Yours is the best I can find right now for taste and organic content.  Still, I need to know what levels of lead and cadmium your lab results show.  Can you supply those results to me in writing? I will post them to my blog on blogger.com, Me the Person whichever of the three ways my request turns out.

2) PFOS AND PFAS

https://www.cdc.gov/biomonitoring/PFAS_FactSheet.html#:~:text=Print-,Per%2D%20and%20Polyfluorinated%20Substances%20(PFAS),in%20a%20variety%20of%20products.

There are thousands of them.

3/31/23 2:20pm I left a message at Kimberly-Clark, 1-888-525-8388, asking if they use PFOS OR PFAS in their product because there has been a considerable thinning of their toilet paper and I wonder if they are using chemicals to boost the strength of the product.  Additionally, the paper turns a weird color, I couldn't remember the color so I guesstimated at orange, even when I just use it to wipe the seat with a weak solution of Clorax and Polomive.  I let them know I have a severe disability and the possible presence of chemicals is of great concern.
